Special Features

The purpose of higher education is to help students to attain their professional and personal goals. The University helps students reach their goals in a number of closely related ways. The General Education curriculum and program-specific curricula help students fulfill these goals in the classroom and the laboratory.

Both within the classroom and without, The University of Toledo offers many special features -- learning opportunities, structures, and programs -- that complement classroom learning and help students to realize their professional and personal goals.

Highlighted throughout these special features are reports, labeled Measuring Effectiveness, that document the effects of programs and structures as reports become available.
